Macadamia fudge is one of those classic treats. It is not something we often make for ourselves but something to create when bringing a dessert to a party or as a gift for friends.
This recipe uses two of our favourite products from our range, our macadamia butter and our Indulge crumb. They each play very different roles in this recipe. The macadamia butter adds an incredible flavour, smoothness and richness to the fudge while the indulge crumb makes this fudge visually pop and also adds a contrasting texture while eating - or should I say devouring!
We hope you enjoy this recipe as much as us!
Chocolate Macadamia Fudge
Ingredients
395g can sweetened condensed milk
450g chocolate, chopped (we use 200g dark 75% and 250g milk)
150g Gondwana Macadamias macadamia butter
100g brown sugar
Generous serve of Gondwana Macadamias Indulge Crumb to garnish.
Method
Place condensed milk, sugar, chocolate and nut butter in a slow cooker and stir to melt and combine. Cover, cook on low for 1 hour, lightly stirring every 15 mins.
Grease tin of choice and then line with baking paper (we used a loaf tin).
Spoon mixture into tin. Smooth and flatten with a spatula.
Generously scatter with our Indulge Macadamia Crumb.
Refrigerate until set, approximately 6hrs. Then slice as desired with a hot knife.
